Meet Laurie Murphy

Real Estate Agent

Hi! My name is Laurie and I’m excited to be a part of such a dynamic team with the A Team London. Although I am a new face to the real estate world, I am no stranger to property adventures with experience managing rental homes and a successful AirBnB. I’ve always known helping others find their perfect property was a passion I needed to pursue.

Until now I have been a career chameleon who’s worked in diverse fields from factory work to healthcare, to telecommunication and most recently I have managed a midwifery practice for the last decade. As I start my forever career in real estate, I can reflect on how this diverse career has taught me adaptability, resilience and an incredible work ethic that I am so excited to bring to my new career. At the core, I have always valued working with people and am deeply committed to understanding and meeting their needs.

When I’m not exploring the world of real estate, you’ll find me enjoying family time with my husband Mark, and our two teenage boys. Travelling is our family passion and we have been so fortunate to see so many amazing places in the world together.

Quick Facts

I am originally from London, Ontario, I spent my childhood in Richmond, BC and Oakville, ON before returning to London during my teenage years. In 2005 my husband Mark and I moved to Ireland where we started our family. Eventually, the pull of friends and family brought us back to London where we have rooted our family in Byron for over 14 years. I love London and am passionate about all that this city offers.
I am a wanderlust enthusiast with a passport always ready for new stamps! I thrive on exploring the world. Travel isn’t just a hobby for me, it’s a way of life fueling my curiosity and broadening my horizons but mostly creating unforgettable memories with my husband and 2 sons.
Comedy and music are my jam! Whether it’s cracking up at standup comedy or grooving out in my kitchen to a loved beat, I’m in my element surrounded by good vibes and great music.
I’m a proud volunteer with a passion for community and culture. My journey in volunteering began with Scouts Canada where I had the privilege of mentoring and guiding young minds, teaching them (and me) valuable life skills and a love of adventure. Today, I’m involved with London Irish Cultural Society where I’m dedicated to preserving and sharing the heritage and culture of the Irish people with our London community.
I love my free roaming bunny Pepper who brings tremendous joy to our home. He is always up for snuggles and meets me every morning in the kitchen without fail looking for his morning veggie snack. Even after the most challenging day his little face makes me smile.
