A Team members have been actively working on behalf of our community for decades. As far back as 1986, Marcus Plowright together with Ann McColl Linsday and the Architectural Conservancy of Ontario (London Branch) formed the Talbot Street Coalition. On May 23, 1987 they organized over 1,000 Londoners to circle the Talbot Block, aiming to protect the last remaining intact nineteenth century streetscape. Their efforts contributed to the northeast corner of Budweiser Gardens incorporating a façade modelled after the historic Talbot Inn.
